Dhaka Half Marathon achieves AIMS certification
Dhaka Run Lords has been working hard to deliver a world-class running experience for our running community through the annual Dhaka Half Marathon. We recently applied for an international route certification for the DHM.
Today we are delighted to announce that the track for the Glaxose-D Dhaka Half Marathon 2020 is now officially AIMS certified.
An AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) route measurement certification ensures the length of a race track is measured using international standards and methodologies. AIMS works with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), now known as World Athletics, to ensure races are of international standards.
