When we’re planning DHM2019 earlier this year, we just knew it in our hearts that #DhakaHalf will be incomplete without our National Anthem. We made sure it was included this year.

Our soundstage was back in the Start of the 7.5k/Finish gate, where our National Anthem was being played. There was no way to get the sound a KM away at the Start of the 21k. So, we improvised. The Marshals at the 7.5k Start gate opened their walkie-talkies and the ones at the 21k Start line placed theirs in front of their hand mics. It was a very overwhelming and surreal moment for some of us.
